We are excited to announce the celebration of the Teej festival, a beautiful and significant event that highlights the devotion, resilience, and joy of Nepali women. It is a time for celebration, spiritual renewal, and community bonding, reflecting the rich cultural heritage of Nepal. Whether in traditional villages or modern cities, Teej continues to be a cherished and vibrant celebration, showcasing the enduring spirit of Nepali culture. We believe that this event will provide an wonderful opportunity to take a break from the busy schedule of the year, allowing everyone to enjoy with community members, dance, and build networks within the community.
We are delighted to inform you that the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) and the Nepalese Canadian Association of Ottawa (NCAO), with the support of the Nepalese Embassy of Canada, are organizing a Teej Program for our community members.
To assist us in organizing the event efficiently, please RSVP by August 15, 2024, by filling out the RSVP FORM
Entry Fee (including logistics and food):
- $25 for ages 11 and older
- $15 for ages between 6 to 10
- Free for ages 5 and below
Note: Please e-transfer your registration fee to [email protected]. We will not accept registration at the door on the event site.
